residents complained to news4 that a security door had been frequently left propped open. the management company says it will reinforce the need to control access to the building. they will continue to strike as long as it takes. that is the message from verizon's union workers tonight. some 40,000 of them, including many in our area, walked off the job at 6:00 this morning. and we found workers picketing today in ash burn, herndon and alexandria. current and even former employees took part in this job action because the strike revolves around retirement benefits. >> did you think after you retired you would have to come back to a picket line? >> no. this is the second picket line since i retired. >> we're trying to keep jobs here in america and we just want to work. >> very eye zon says it's been negotiating with the union since june. verizon says the company's agenda is rooted in the

trouble for metro. a woman just filed a lawsuit saying that a metro bus driver was negligent when the bus hit her last month in arlington. that woman says she was walking in the crosswalk with the walk sign when she was hit and pinned under the bus. her attorneys say that she suffered a concussion and a broken arm. she's seeking $25 million in damages. we now know that the body found in a manassas retention pond last month belonged to a woman who was reported missing back in february. prince william county police today identified the body as 23-year-old rose detoro. we first told you about rose when she disappeared on february 4. her family told us she had bipolar disorder and was last seen at a manassas hotel there. the hotel isn't far from the pond where she was found. police say they do not suspect foul play. and new at 11, we're going to find out tomorrow if florida prosecutors are going to continue to pursue charges against donald trump's campaign
